Dear Grace Day Care Families,

We/I are/am pleased and excited to announce that Grace Day Care has achieved Level 4 in Paths to QUALITY™, Indiana’s voluntary quality rating and improvement system. One of the requirements for Level 4 is national accreditation. Grace Day Care is accredited by NAEYC (National Association of Education for Young Children). We have been working to make quality improvements within our program and are am proud of our my achievements. As a Level 4 program, we have committed to improving program quality by:

«  Promoting positive relationships for all children and adults

«  Using a planned curriculum to help your child develop his or her language, physical, social/emotional, and thinking skills

«  Using materials and teaching that consider your child’s developmental needs, as well as his or her cultural background

«  Providing ongoing assessment of your child’s learning and development and communicating his or her progress to you

«  Promoting children’s health and protecting your child from injury and illness

Our decision to participate in this worthwhile program is great news for your child because research shows that high quality early learning experiences prepare children for success in school, work, and life. By participating in Paths to QUALITY™, we are making a commitment to provide your child with quality care and to continually work to improve program quality.

Please feel free to speak with me if you have any questions about the changes we have made or to learn more about our national accreditation and Paths to QUALITY™ Level 4 rating.

Thank you for continuing to trust us to provide high quality care for your child. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Indiana’s young children.

Sincerely,

Anne Hough
